The workout craze of the 1980's brought images of fitness as the next American beauty trend.
Interesting survey:
A survey found that seven out of ten girls said they wanted to look like a television character. Nearly one-third said that they had changed their appearance to become more like the TV character. Sixteen percent (nearly one in five) said that they had dieted or exercised to look more like a TV character.
