Cleaning with White Distilled Vinegar is Enviromentally Friendly & Very Economical (2)

As I said in my last post White Distilled Vinegar (wdv) is very economical and enviromentally friendly as promissed here are more uses for (wdv)

Blanket renewal:
cotton & wool blankets become soft, fluffy and free of soap odor if you add 2 cups of (wdv) to the rinse cycle of your wash.

Get Laundry Cleaner:
add 1/4/ cup of (wdv) to the last rinse, the acid in (wdv) is too mild to harm fabrics yet strong enought to dissolve the alkalies in soaps & detergents and it also prevents clothes from yellowing, acts as a fabric softener & static cling reducer, it also attacks mildew and mold.

Iron:
getting rid of mineral deposits in steam vents by adding equal parts water & (wdv) in the water chamber, set iron upright for 5 minutes than let iron cool then pour out water solution & rinse with clean water. Test iron before using, this will keep your steam iron clean & in good working condition.

Scorched clothes:
Lightly rub (wdv) on fabrics that have been slightly scorched than wipe with a clean cloth.

Patent leather shoes & bags:
By wiping down your shoes and bags with equal parts (wdv) & water will give them a better shine.
